In October, 2020, John Barrera walked into my office at JAM Broadcasting. He owned a power washing business and wanted to figure out a way to help business owners in the area network. 

I told him that it would be a good idea to start a podcast. It would be perfect I thought. I was working on building my radio clientele and it would be a good way to build rapport with local business owners by having them on the podcast. 

We started out with the Kerrville Small Business Network Podcast, where we would interview a local business owner and get their story in about 30 minutes. It was great, but we knew it could be more. 

So, after about 40 episodes, we came up with the name Kerrville Podcast and launched a new website for it at KerrvillePodcast.com. We are now over 80 episodes into the podcast and have added high-definition live style video to the podcast. 

It can be heard on all major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube, Facebook and more. If it’s about Kerrville, you can hear about it on the Kerrville Podcast!
